Good morning darlings. Yes it's technically morning.

Let me first start by saying that I hope you all had a happy and safe Valentine's day. Usually I would have written during the morning of that day however I woke up with a major migraine and couldn't be arsed to do so, so yeah, like I said...
What did Cissy do for Valentine's day? Absolutely nothing. I slept for a good portion of it. I got out of bed, tried to sit up for a bit to check e-mail and twitter, drank some Sprite and had to turn around and go lie back down again. As I laid down I thought I was getting better so I got up and tried to sit up for a bit again, nope didn't happen. I finally found my Emetrex and laid back down and went to sleep. I listened to DJ Alan for a bit and then to solstice singer who did a very awesome show I might add, I fell asleep listening to her but caught most of it. I really hate migraines. It's sad really, even with a migraine I can't sleep with out music. Yes it hurts worse but I'm too used to the noise to have it turned off while resting.
I finally felt much better and was able to make my debut on Mojo Radio. It was so exciting to do a show on a new station. It went over big too from what I can tell. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait till Thursday when I can do my classic rock show.

Saturday night i had a dream. It was more like a nightmare I think.
Enter Cissy's dream...
I dreamt i was auditioning for American Idol. Those of you who know me know that i have stage fright really badly and find it hard to sing in front of a lot of people or if i'm to be judged. Well i went in front of the judges and I froze. i couldn't sing, I just stood there trying to get up the courage to sing. I just couldn't do it and I turned and ran out of the room. I stood looking out at the trees and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and there stood a person I have never met before. He was like you know you can do this, go back and give it a shot. I told him that I blew it because I ran out, there's no way they will give me a second chance. He then told me that he came to get me because they wanted him too. So I went back in and the same thing happened, I froze. Simon was like if you aren't going to do this you need to go because we have a lot more people to try out and if you aren't going to sing then you are just waisting our time and you can go. I said no no, i can do it. I started to sing The Rose and during the song some girl that i had never seen before came in and started singing with me. She was harmonizing. I stopped singing and looked at her. The judges then told me that i was done and they wouldn't let me go through to the next round but the girl that interupted me made it. I walked out and cried and swore to never sing again.
End Cissy's dream.
In reality I would never act like that. Yes it's tru I do have really bad stage fright but I'm wanting to work on it, I just have to get the courage to work on it. LOL! There's a huge difference in just singing in front of my computer and singing in front of a crowd. Singing in front of my computer if i make a mistake i can fix it. In front of a crowd if i mess up i can't do it over. I one day vow to be able to sing with no stage fright.

Ok so I wanted to post this on actual Valentine's Day but since i couldn't...here ya go, have a recipe.

PASSION POPS

12 caramel squares
32 vanilla wafer cookies
16 lollipop sticks
1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
Valentine sprinkles

Melt unwrapped caramels in a (microwave) according to package directions. Working quickly, spoon small dollops of caramel onto 16 cookies. (Place lollipop stick in center) and top each with another cookie to make a sandwich.
*Melt chocolate chips according to package directions. Dunk each cookie sandwich in chocolate and shake to remove excess. (Top lollipops with sprinkles) and place on wax paper lined baking sheet. Chill until firm, 10 min. then serve.
MAKES 16 POPS...

Very very tasty! Yummy!

Ok, I'm off now, getting sleepy again.
Until next time all...

Wow...I've liked and respected you since we started really messaging a couple weeks back...But your post totally ups that to a new level. I had no idea you were so sick today. And yet you still put on one of the most awesome shows I've heard. And for the record, you did great...You certainly exceeded my numbers. LOL. But seriously, we're glad to have you on the station, and I'm glad to be able to count you as a friend. Hope you're feeling better and get back to full health soon.
