My Mother's Ok!!

Good evening darlings.

Before i get into all my thoughts and such I'd like to welcome chocolab and brokenglass16 to the madness that is my journal. I hope you enjoy the ride. My entries are sometimes fun and sometimes not so fun. I'll try to keep you as entertained as possible. LOL! Seriously though, welcome.

So, i got some of the most awesome news. I am just over the moon about this. My aunt Cat called me yesterday to inform me that my birth mother is doing 100% better. She is totally off the vent and is definitely breathing on her own. Also she is able to talk but when talking to her you have to listen carefully and closely because of the trach she can't talk loud at all. They have even given her the ok to receive phone calls. I'm so excited! She doesn't remember anything though as far as her medical condition. She had no clue how she got to Dayton and why she has a trach. I suppose that if I were close to death I wouldn't remember much either. I can't wait to talk to her. Now they are going to work with her on walking again. I hope she can go home soon, i think she'll be much happier and much more comfortable. When I wake up, I'm going to give her a call and see for myself how she is doing. I'll update you all after I speak to her and hear her for myself.
I was so worried that she wouldn't get to hear my second CD which she is looking forward to. She wonders why I haven't tried to go to Nashville to get a recording contract. She didn't really appreciate the fact that I laughed at her when she asked but I found her amusing that day. I'm now going to work even harder now to finish the CD so she can hear it. I have one full song written and I'm working on like 7 more. After I'm done with the lyrics, Flint is going to put music to them and then I will sing them. I kind of got off the topic but she's alright and I couldn't be happier.
I want to thank those who were there for me during this rough time. wesderby nightdrake djedward even though I wasn't always there for him when I should have been. I'm really sorry about that. Anyone else who i didn't mention thanks to you guys too. I couldn't remember lj user names so that's why I didn't put them. It doesn't mean that I appreciate it any less however. Thank you all soooooo much! Big huge vampiric hugs to you all.
